Breaking the Cycle of Festival Waste
More than a marketplace. A community built by burners, for burners.
Why We Built This
Every year, thousands of burners buy gear they'll use once, then store indefinitely. Festival-goers scatter across countless websites searching for the right shade structure, the perfect costume, or that essential camp gear. We're changing that.
That's why we built Burner Outpost. A place to clear out the garage, pass things along, and find what you need from people who've already tested it in the dust. Your hexayurt, vintage festival fashion, and camp equipment deserve another trip out there.
But we're more than a marketplace. We're a community hub where you can organize your camp, connect year-round, and deal directly with folks who know what a hexayurt is. Real people, real gear, built by the community.
What We're About
Less Stuff in Landfills
Your gear can make someone else's burn instead of sitting in storage. Less buying new, more gear where it belongs.
Keep It Moving
Sell, rent, trade, or just pass it along—whatever works for you. The point is keeping good gear in circulation.
People Who Get It
Deal directly with folks who know what a hexayurt is. No explaining why you need a dust mask or shade structure.
More Than a Marketplace
Organize your camp, chat year-round, find services, and connect with your playa family. This is your community hub.
Built by the Community
Burner Outpost started with a simple question: why is it so hard to find playa gear from people who actually know what works out there?
We watched burners scatter across random marketplaces, trying to explain to sellers why condition matters differently in the desert, why dust-proofing is essential, why that "slightly used" shade structure might not survive a week of wind.
So we built this. A home base for the community where you can find camps to join, services from experienced burners, and gear from people who've tested it in the toughest conditions. Where "playa-tested" actually means something.
We're here to keep good gear moving, help new burners find their footing, and make it easier for the whole community to prepare for another year on the playa. Welcome home.
